Friday: On friday I rode clifford in a lesson. We worked on collection and feeling what I was needing to do.

Saturday: I rode Earl(The bestest boy). The arena was occupied so I rode in the round pen. I started out by making sure my seat was good and that he was listening to all my ques. I worked a lot on stopping. I would sit deep, say WOAH, then say all the way. Eventually Earl picked up on what I was saying going at a fast pace (arena was wet so we didn't canter) and he would stop right away. After that we worked on side passing, disengaging hindquarters, and spanish stepping. Then before I get off I make him either back up, spanish step, or some other easy thing so he doesn't immediately assume just 'cause we're stopped doesn't mean I have to get off or that we're done.
